Friday 24th January
SHE SAID:
We had a short shopping trip to Vasse, for groceries & the post office. Then we hid away again as it was another hot, 37C & humid, breezy day.
There were several serious fires that took off in the heat across the south west; the wind just makes things 100 time worse. Thankfully no deaths from them, unlike the scorched earth fires in California, which have been going since Xmas.
More orchid filing. I asked for Geoff’s help, but it was all too hard & not going well. I can’t explain to him what I’m trying to do well enough. I ploughed on but felt by the end of the day I had wasted the day!!!

HE SAID:
After our short expedition we stayed at the house. It wasn't a day for being very active. The BBL semi-final was on in the arvo, so I settled and watched Sydney Thunder have a win over Sydney Sixers. The GF is on Monday afternoon between Hobart Hurricanes and Thunder. I hope Thunder get their second Premiership, but if Hobart win it will be their first, so still OK by me.
