SHE SAID:
It turned out to be a 41C day here in Vasse, & other than a short drive to Busselton for a couple of things we stayed at the house through the heat of the day.
Geoff & Kath had a refreshing afternoon swim before we headed out around 5pm to the Margaret River area again. It was to another winery, Cape Mentelle, though this time we went to their summer outdoor cinema, not to taste wines.
Wicked Little Letters was the movie, & it was good. I made up nibbles to take & we bought some wine to have with the food & movie.
HE SAID:
Our movie night was good. We had over-packed, as the girls were worried about it getting cold after sundown, so the three of us had our arms full as we lugged chairs, cushions, blankets, spare clothes, and our picnic dinner the 200 or so metres from the car-park to the cinema lawn. After setting up and settling down we grabbed some wine and nibbled our way through dinner. The film started not long afterwards and we had a good giggle for 90 minutes as the actors on the screen swore their heads off; the script writers must have had a great time with this one!
