Friday 7^th February

SHE SAID:

A few chores in the morning, followed by lunch out with Dorte in Busselton; she rang yesterday & suggested we go out.

We went to Brimful of Asha Cafe for a light lunch. It was nice to get out with just her, and wander around & chat.

HE SAID:

Mainly it was a quiet morning, though I did slip out to the shop and grab some more beer. I also rang Uncle Paul for a chat. He seems to be his usual and happy self, always ready with a yarn about a relative or two from long ago. Hopefully he will tell someone when he is ready to move into a nursing home though. Living by himself at 90+ is fine, but can’t last forever, especially now that my sister Kathy is spending less time there, and more in Brisbane with her new boyfriend, Jon.
