Monday 3rd February
SHE SAID:
We had a mostly quiet day at the house with a trip into town in the mid-afternoon. Geoff is getting fitted out for a sleep monitoring test tonight. He looks rather odd, with wires & sensors stuck to him. Hopefully it will find out if he does have trouble sleeping.
Driving back to the house I straddled a turtle walking down the road, but when I stopped to try & get it off the bitumen it had disappeared, hopefully into the bush. There were no signs of it squashed anywhere, thankfully.

Wired up & ready to go!! |
HE SAID:
I really had no idea what to expect at the sleep clinic. I knew there would be things with wires, but it seems that there were heaps, mainly around my head, but also on my chest and leg. I tried to see out the rest of the day back at the house as normally as I could, and then to try and not pull any wires out at bed time. I think I managed. So, in a week or two, after a doctor has analysed the results, I should be contacted to go back in and discuss the results. Whether these discussions lead to me getting a CPAP or not, I'll know then.
Before lights out I noticed a dark shadow darting along our bedroom floor near the skirting board. Unsure if it was a mouse or another frog we bounced out of bed and looked again, seeing a dark mouse bolt away to places unknown. It looks like I'll be getting mouse traps tomorrow!
