I suggested an outing as we haven’t done much here for a while. Dorte had mentioned The Berry Farm in Rosa Glen, so we headed there. It was lovely, a little oasis of green in the dry brown summer landscape. The gardens were a messy riot of colours & little birds enjoying the cool & bugs & whatever they could scrounge off leftover plates.
Morning tea was lovely & filling; we shared scones, jam & cream, & a huge Boysenberry Tart with cream & ice cream. It made for a pleasant morning out.

It was a relaxed country drive down to The Berry Farm. The gardens there were quite a pleasant surprise. It was cool, shady, and a very nice spot for elevenses. We may even take visitors there when they come over.
