SHE SAID:

It is Labour Day in WA; why it is March we can’t quite understand. Both Geoff & I think of it as the 1st May! Anyhow, we headed to the supermarkets & they were really quiet. Nice! The traffic heading back to Perth was one long stream of cars & caravans, a great way to spend a public holiday!

I did some cooking on our return; dinners for tomorrow & Wednesday nights, so I don’t have to worry when we have guests. I also made some chocolate chip & nut biscuits too.

It was a fairly short outing for supplies at Aldi and Woolies this morning. We weren’t sure that the shops would actually be open, as we have come across some strange opening hours rules in WA before. I had checked the web sites already, but I had no confidence that they were correct. That has also caught us out before. But, today was fine.
