I had a big pot of Bolognese sauce to get prepared today, it took about an hour, then on to slow cook for the rest of the day. It was a good day for staying inside; squally showers passing through all day, & didn’t get above 15C.

I made good progress with the Blog Book; I’m now under 1 month behind!

I bit the bullet & rang the UK National Insurance people about my voluntary contributions. I have been trying for over 3 years to get an amount I can pay into the NI & where to send the money. It is the MOST PAINFUL system to deal with, but much to my surprise I seemed have made progress. A very friendly & helpful lady has given me the information! I can’t quite believe it! (Time will tell if it is successful...)
