SHE SAID:
We headed west into the sun today, a much nicer day than yesterday!
It was another reccy day, with not a lot found, but new places explored with some worthy of returning to later in the season.
Our lunch stop was at the strangely named Heart Echo Lake, a salt lake west of Scaddan.

HE SAID:
Not getting rained on was good. We keep finding the same common orchids, with only a few minor surprises. In a month or so that will change; Varena will be an unstoppable orchid hunting machine when that happens! And, even though it is mid-winter, I am trying to be more vigilant with my use of sunscreen. Not that it wasn't used up until now. It is probably 50 years too late but I'm having a go.
