SHE SAID:

We headed 330km west today to meet with possible new house-sit owners. They invited us for the night & dinner.

I managed 3 orchid stops along the way too! It was a good drive in my book!

Tracey & Gary are lovely, very friendly, & welcoming; about our ages I think. or slightly older. Barney the cat was lovely too, & we are happy to do the sit. We ate, drank & chatted away till about 10.30pm.

HE SAID:

We were up a but earlier than normal, on the road by about 8:30, and dropped the van off in the Ravensthorpe van park and zoomed beyond Albany, to Young's Siding. Arriving at 4pm Gary and Tracey were friendly and welcoming. I think that the cat is what decided it for Varena. The old farm house has been relocated to its current site, maybe 30 years ago, and they still have 2 rooms to finish renovating! I guess the time just slipped by. Anyway, we accepted the sit and had a good evening.
