SHE SAID:

Sad & worrying news greeted me today; my friend Tina in South Africa had a large cancerous growth removed from her sternum, lung, & heart. She is still in hospital, & the doctors are hopeful it can be treated. Not good.

We headed for Albany for a list of things to get done. We had morning tea down at a little cafe at Emu Point, which has a lovely view over the turquoise water.

Bluee got a wash, NOT a clean, at the “Car Wash”. I hope to clean inside tomorrow.

Tina’s news wasn’t good. We hope she recovers quickly.

We popped into a couple of places for some minor things, unsuccessfully. But at least the car was washed, and we shared a large scone with jam and cream for elevenses, but only after I had to explain to the girl at the cafe what a Devonshire Tea was!
