woke this morning to a chilly 15oC in the van, no idea what the temp.
was outside & wasn't game to find out. On went the heating &
back to bed till it warmed up.
Melbourne's
weather is a horrible reminder of why I left England all those years
ago! I think this "summer" is the worst I have experienced
since leaving "good old Blighty" way back in 1984!
I
know I'm a typical whinging Pom...
On a brighter note I got to see Life of Pi at the movies...that was a lovely movie, part story, part reality & part fantasy.

For the last act of the annual festival that is Riley's birthday, all of us minus Varena, went off to do some go-karting. It was really fun. Steph didn't drive but was chief photographer. The rest of us lads had a grand time zipping about the track.
