SHE SAID:

D-Day today on the settlement front...we both avoided the subject totally!

For a great distraction we headed into the city for a wander around.

The weather was kind & we had a lovely day. I finally got some good pictures of the city. The Royal Exhibition Building was the highlight.

At about 4pm we got the good news we had been holding out for....House settled, money in the bank!

Celebrations at the "Pontoon Bar" (our name for the bar below one of the bridges on the Yarra as we don't know it's name!).

Tony & Ang joined us & we had dinner on the Southgate Bank?...

It was a great day topped off by meeting up with Ang & Tony, though Tony may have lasting scars over the $33 he had to pay for their double Baileys on Ice at Young & Jackson's bar!....LOL!

The floor is being renovated...vans inside shows the

AC/DC Lane...!
 HE SAID:

A good day out. We caught up with friends, settled the house, went to ACDC Lane, and we had good food and drink. It's like being on holiday!
