We
had a big day out at Kryal Castle, which is just outside Ballarat. It
has recently re-opened after a major refurbishment & now is a
popular "medieval adventure".
Geoff
had read some pretty average reports online so we were all quite
surprised when it turned out to be an OK day. We saw jousting, sword
fighting, the torture chamber & dungeons, there was a maze &
plenty of photo opportunities.
We went out for dinner in the early evening to Lazy Moe's & finished the day with Erica's homemade banana muffins.

A good day out at Kryal Castle. The jousting display was a great spectacle that we all enjoyed. The torture dungeon and display a real eye opener for the kids. It was even noticed that there were tortures used at one point in time for practicing Christianity, and other tortures for not attending church. Things were a lot harder way back then.
