SHE
SAID:
I
had arranged to go to see my old friend Sue, who lives about an hour
away from Horsham in Crowborough, East Sussex. She was working from
home today so we headed there in the late afternoon.
We
had a short detour to Ashdown Forest, to find the "famous"
Poohsticks Bridge from the Winnie the Pooh books.
Sue
and Al greeted us with wine and cricket, it was a great start to the
weekend.

| Geoff waiting, WAITING, WAITING for our stick to emerge from under the bridge... They didn't, because they got snagged on the other 100000+ sticks already under the bridge! |

HE SAID:
I seem to know about Winnie the Pooh, but I can't remember reading it. I guess I must have, but the bit about playing pooh sticks under the bridge is still a mystery to me.
After avoiding low flying Deer in Ashdown forest we went around the corner and caught up with Sue and Al. They are always so welcoming and today was no exception. We were up after midnight chatting our way through several bottles of wine.
