had no plans for today, so I decided to walk into town with Mum &
have a wander around whilst she got her eyes tested.

was nice to check out the place I grew up in, but it has changed so much
it's hard to remember what it used to be like.

For some money-grubbing yet self-destructive and audience reducing reason the cricket in the UK is on pay TV. I know that the cricket administrators will have reaped a lot of money by this deal, but it also means that hardly anyone can watch it. Especially me. I read just yesterday that the viewing audience is down to about a quarter of what it was when on free to air TV. Hmmmphh.
I listened to it all day via internet streaming, but I would have liked to see the replays and analysis. Poor me.
