SHE
SAID:
We
had another touring day on our way to Cardiff, checking out the
Burrow Mump, Glastonbury Tor, Wells Cathedral, & Cheddar Gorge.
I
mentioned to Geoff that we were quite close to Midsomer Norton,, &
he said we should have lunch there & see if there are any murders
happening!!! Sadly Midsomer Norton isn't like the “Midsomers” on
the TV show...no quaint little village with a duck pond & village
green!
We
got to our BnB in Cardiff around 4pm. Tricia, the owner, basically
handed the keys over & said the place is yours for a week; she
spends most of her time with her partner at his place! Great for us!

| Burrow Mump-because I like the name! |

HE SAID:
This current B&B is more like a short house sit, except we are paying. We have the house (half of a duplex) to ourselves, and Tricia will pop in sometimes.
Cheddar Gorge was nothing like what I expected. For a start, we could drive right through it, and secondly it wasn't very gorge-ish. It was certainly different to the surrounding areas, but was just a nice drive. No cheese in sight.
