SHE SAID:

The drizzle greeted us once again. It just reinforces my reasons for leaving the UK all those years ago!!!

Port Isaac was cute. We even saw Martin Clunes on the beach there surrounded by cameras.

Westward Ho!, was the next stop. Its claim to fame is that it is the only town in the UK to have an exclamation mark as part of it's name. It is also named after a book.

As the weather was awful we decided to head straight for the village of Ham, near Creech St. Michael & North Curry! For our next BnB night.

We were staying in a lovely old mill house.

 HE SAID:

Port Isaac was quite like what you see in the show Doc Martin. There must be other locations too, but it was easy to relate the village to the show.

Westward Ho! did not seem as interesting as the spelling of its name. The pub did a good tomato soup.
