SHE SAID:

I think I shouldn't have bothered with getting up today; better off staying in bed. At least I would have been warmer. I have a long sleeved t-shirt, jumper & my furry cardigan on & I'm freezing.

The computer is “playing up”, to be polite; not the words I was using this morning. Now the internet has died on it too.

Geoff says it's raining at the cricket....welcome to Birmingham! NOT!

The Wolves stadium

Mascots Wendy & Wolfy...maybe the guy in the middle is their dinner!

Not looking good!

Gloomy skies & 5 stops - I think it was a frustrating day for watchers & players.
Maybe they need to learn to play in the rain!!!!
HE SAID:

A cold, wet and gloomy day that apparently is a typical English summer's day. I was not impressed - with the weather or the performance of the Australian batsmen. It was great to be at another Ashes test match in England, but I was hoping Australia to be 4 - 320, not all out for not much. Being about 15 metres from the Barmy Army trumpeter was interesting, amusing, but not ongoing. I think the army make all their noise on tour, not at home.
