Hubby Heaven today; the cricket begins.

He got off the bus before me, beaming. I got to shop in Cardiff city on my own...I have been in the UK for 2 ½ weeks & this is my first chance to check out the shops!

I had a great time, not quite breaking the bank...not yet anyhow!

Geoff & I met up again at the pub up the road; he enjoyed himself, though it sounds as though the POMS are putting up a fight!

At last! After many months of planning and anticipation it begins! Late because of rain, but it began.

After hopping off the bus I was a bit disconcerted when I received a call from the ticket reseller that I'd used to sell my day one ticket. There had been some sort of problem at the receiving end, despite it being delivered and signed for. So they were hoping it was an e-ticket and that I could email to the recipient. But as it was a proper hard ticket there was nothing I could do. They promised that I would still be paid, but only time will tell.
