SHE
SAID:
Geoff
& Al headed back to London for the cricket again, whilst Sue &
I had a nice lie in.
We
didn't have any set plans, but Sue was keen to go to Hever Castle,
which was about ½ hour away. The weather was lovely for a “day in
the country”, & we really enjoyed it there.
For
dinner we had organised a three course “feast”, & luckily the
guys got the 7pm train back so that we ate at 8.30pm & not
9.30pm.

| SEE! Michael Clarke didn't think Geoff was a jinx!!!! |
HE SAID:Today's seats at the Oval were directly opposite yesterday's. Again side on to the pitch, as has every day I've attended been all series. My seating had no influence on the destruction of the England batting line up, which seemed to almost self-destruct. It was good to see.
We waited until the end of play then darted off to the tube station, and got into our spouses' good books by managing to catch the first available train back to Crowborough. There was a lovely spread of Smoked Salmon, Lamb Wellington, and a rich chocolate mousse with clotted cream awaiting us. On top of all those England wickets this was just great!
