SHE
SAID:
WHAT
A GREAT DAY!
Sue
& I left Geoff & Al to do the “cricket thing”. And then we
headed into the city; 1st stop Westminster for the
obligatory “tourist” route of the Houses of Parliament, Whitehall
& Horse Guards. Sue was an excellent tour guide; we even got to
see the changing of the guard. Then we continued on to Trafalgar
Square for our planned meet with Elaine.
Our
matinee show of Mamma Mia started at 3pm, & was excellent.
Then
it was off for cocktails whilst waiting for Geoff & Al. Dinner
at Sophie's rounded out the full day! Phew!

HE SAID:
What a great day! Australia can bat! It was good to see. And being at the iconic Oval was a good experience too. And continuing the run of crappy English weather, this test, like all the other tests in this series, was affected by the weather. Four out of four!
When Al and I met the tipsy girls it was quite amusing. Champagne and cocktails will do that I guess.
Sophie's the restaurant was hugely over-rated. 17 pounds ($34) for a burger and chips was a friggin' rip off, and they had the hide to whack on a friggin' gratuity automatically. DO NOT GO THERE!
