did some more sightseeing whilst Geoff punished himself with another
disastrous day at the cricket. I think the Aussies should just have
conceded defeat & stayed in bed!
I went around the castle ruins & the art gallery, which is in the house inside the castle ruins. Then I headed back into town for more wanderings.
Around
7.30pm I met a “hang-dog” looking Geoff from the bus & we
went out for dinner, to celebrate our 22nd year
anniversary of being together! OMG!

As much as it is an enjoyable day out at the cricket, especially in these iconic cricket grounds, I'd much prefer it if the Aussies could bat a bit longer. The jibes have altered to sympathy from the England supporters. Hmmm.
