Friday 30th October 2015

SHE SAID:

Mum suggested lunch out at Shoreham Airport today. It is the oldest commercial airport in England, & was used in one or two of the Agatha Christie TV shows with Hercules Poirot.

The restaurant was popular, & there was plenty of “plane” action to be seen.

On the way home we detoured via Devil's Dyke, just because I wanted to go back there; it's been years since I'd last been to this strangely named place up on the South Downs.

Geoff watched the “losers” rugby match on TV...why would they bother...Oh yes, MONEY!

HE SAID:

As it was Friday I had fish and chips. It was very good, which is a surprise from an airport eatery.
