The rugby world cup was good, despite the result. Australia played well and always looked a chance except for a period before half time, and also right at the very end.
I think the ancient Gaelic celebrants of Samhain would be rather bemused by the fuss made these days of their post-harvest festival. I prefer to just let the whole thing pass me by quietly.
