SHE SAID :
The blue skies
and sun barely lasted till we left Mum's! The rain started as we hit
the motorway and didn't let up till we stopped in Lavenham around
1pm. Then miraculously it was sunny spells and blue skies again!
Mum had
suggested this quaint little village and we agreed it was a good
place to stop. We had lunch and a look around the National Trust's
Guildhall, then a wander around some of the old wonky houses! How
they don't just topple over is beyond me.
We arrived at
our accommodation, "The Oak House Barn" in Rougham, and moved in
without seeing the owners.

HE SAID:
More culture and history for me today. Guildhalls, bridewells, market squares etc. I can see why Lavenham is a good spot to stop.
