SHE SAID :

Our travelling continues today, with the ultimate destination being Sheringham, but we took the scenic route around the coast. We took in King's Lynn, and a couple of strangely named places such as Burnham Overy Staithe, Wells next the Sea, and Stiffkey to name a few.

The Beaumaris Hotel in Sheringham is old, but not cute or quaint old; about 1903, with 1940's décor downstairs and 1980's decor in the rooms, blankets on the beds and an old fashioned but tasty and filling dinner menu.

But it is clean, friendly and suits us fine.

Our drive today was quite pleasant as we meandered along the coast road.
