SHE SAID :
Today we went
our separate ways, with Mum and John going along the coast road that
we had done on Monday, and Geoff and l heading into Sheringham and
along the coast to Cromer and beyond, then back via Norfolk. We
checked out an old windmill, saw a stripy lighthouse and had lunch at
a prison-run cafe.
We all met up
again for dinner at the Blackboys pub in Aylesham, along with John's
eldest son Phillip, who lives in Norwich. It was an excellent meal,
with huge portions.

All I felt like at lunch time was a cream tea. Cream tea in UK is what in Australia would probably be called a Devonshire tea i.e.: a scone with jam, (preferably clotted) cream, and a cup of tea or coffee. The cooked breakfast had done its job and was sustaining me for hours. Mmmm bacon.
An amusingly named place we passed today was Happisburg. It is pronounced Haze - brugh.
