SHE SAID:

We did our practise pack today, & found that we will both be on the limit with the luggage. I have packed a box with our summer stuff & other bits & pieces, which we will send on Monday before we leave here! After six months you do seem to acquire a bit of "stuff"!

We had dinner at an Indian restaurant in town; it was good.
The centre of Horsham is quite ancient, the town dates from 947AD.
Carfax is a very old word meaning 4 forks (meeting of 4 roads).
The Skarfolkes is even older & more obscure (possible meaning the open area at the centre of town)

HE SAID:

We are having a bit of a last minute fling and visiting some of the local pubs before we head back to Australia. Jan had only been to one or two pubs in Horsham before we turned up. Now I reckon she must be in double figures. As The Maltshovel was virtually next to the Indian restaurant we slipped in for a pre-dinner drink. There's another one for Jan's list.
