It was Bertie cleaning day today.

Well, I made a start; sorting out some cupboards, throwing stuff out, & putting clothes & things aside for the charity shops.

Geoff bought a new TV arm for the van & replaced the current one, so it is now easier to watch; lower down than before. We can also unclip it from the wall bracket easily to watch from the bench instead of up high, which gives me a sore neck.

Getting back to Farrer, Val showed us her vegetable basket. It was sent to her when she complained to the "sweet potato board", about the lack of real white sweet potatoes in the shops! Nice!

My usual DIY events occurred, ie I needed a tool that I didn't have, and the job took longer to do than I thought. At least I am consistent.
