I
persuaded Geoff to do something cultural today.
We
headed for the National Library, down in the Parliamentary Triangle.
Neither of us have been there for years, maybe a decade or two. It is
an imposing building close to the lake, so I had photo opportunities
inside & outside.

HE SAID:
It has been a very long time since I have been to the National Library. I may not have even been there as an adult. Anyway, it was good to get there and have a peek. Though there is always something stupid at this sort of place, and today it was cameras. Varena was not allowed to take her camera in to any of the exhibitions. OK, I thought; perhaps some things are light sensitive and the flash may be harmful to them. But this no photography rule did not seem to apply to anyone who whipped out their mobile phone or mini video camera. As I said, some things seem stupid.
