SHE SAID:

We left Grass Hut Station at Mingela before 9am, heading westwards.

The traffic is much diminished; our travelling distance is the same as from Tully to Mingela & that leg of the trip we saw 149 caravans, campers, motorhomes etc (yes to help pass the time we count them!), but to Hughenden today we only saw 44!

More interesting trivia: what do Sensible, Sausage, Skeleton & Shovel have in common? Creek names! We crossed them on the Flinders Highway, though none of them had water in them!

Archie keeps asking Geoff...
"Are we there yet?"
HE SAID:

Grass Hut was a good spot. Nothing spectacular in any way, just a nice place that is so different from our green, wet, mountainous home of the last few months.
