SHE
SAID:
We
had a 4 ½ hour drive ahead of us today. My old work colleague from
Westminster House, Molly, was over from New Zealand visiting her
youngest daughter, & had contacted me to see if we were close
enough to visit. Molly was like a "surrogate mum" to me when I first
arrived in Australia & we have always stayed in contact.
It
was great to catch up with her & her family again. We had a 4
hour talk-fest!
We
headed back towards Brisbane for dinner with John & Katrina, who
also kindly offered to put us up for the night too. Another chatting,
eating & drinking session with them kept going till after 11pm.

HE SAID:
The drive was worth it to see everyone again. Molly and co were a hoot, with some rather risqué conversations for an 80+ year old. John and Katrina were also fine hosts again. I'm sure that John had a tear or two on his cheeks we were laughing so much.
