We
had breakfast in Double Bay before heading back to Bowral.
It
was a reasonable run back to Bowral, with the usual hold-ups through
the M5 tunnel. Except for a truck that had lost some of it's load of what looked
like insulation batts in a couple of places, which slowed the traffic
a couple of times. Luckily it didn't cause a pile up!
We
had a quiet afternoon watching the last 2 episodes of "Call the
Midwife" (season 4) which we had missed a couple of years ago;
Netflix is useful! Now we have to get season 5 from somewhere!

I won't miss Sydney's traffic. We have made several trips there this last month. I like some things about the city, but I reckon they need a person who actually drives a car on the roads to plan their roads. In the main the major roads that I regularly use seem fine, until cars are added, then they are crap. I know that improving roads invites more traffic, but having crap roads does not deter traffic. Perhaps not putting hundreds of thousands of people into a small geographical location might help.
