SHE SAID:

My hopes of finding a few new orchids didn't happen. I headed to the usual area, Tourist Road, & found the Slender Beard Orchid (which I found last year), but in a different spot this time. Other than the Rosy Hyacinth Orchid, which are mainly at the finish of their season, this is all I found for the day.

I spent over 4 hours at various spots looking, but was not rewarded with anything else.

The afternoon was spent culling & sorting the photos I did take, whilst Geoff binged on his latest TV show.

I smashed the watering at the house yesterday so did not need to do any today. The coolish start to the day, and the very light and brief rain this morning, helped to (hopefully) maintain the gardens for the rapidly approaching return of Karen, the house owner.
