SAID:
We
had a nice, quiet, & warm day at the house, enjoying the deck for a
change. No howling chilly wind today.
At
6pm we headed to the next door but one neighbours for drinks & a
chat. They had also invited some of Diana's relatives, who live down
in the valley below us. It was a chatty & informative evening; we
learnt about all the neighbours & life on a large property, the
history of the area, lack of rain, & livestock issues.

HE SAID:
Not knowing what to expect, we took both wine and chocolates over to Sally and Joe's place. We met several of Diana's clan, who all live on surrounding properties, and enjoyed a couple of hours of friendly chatting and amusement.
Varena whipped up an omelette after we returned to the house, so we enjoyed that out on the deck while observing both the valley below and the stars above.
