Sunday 11th March

SHE SAID :

I was let loose on a shopping mall today.....my first in a while. Geoff was safely ensconced at the cricket, oblivious to what I was doing; happily so I imagine. I enjoyed the few hours spent there.

My sightseeing agenda didn't pan out after the mall. The place I went to didn't seem as though I should be walking around there alone, so I just returned to the house.

We went out for dinner, down to the beach. Firstly we had a walk out onto Shark Rock Pier, then drinks watching the sun go down over the Indian Ocean (yes it is considered the Indian Ocean in PE). Dinner at the Blue Water Cafe was tasty, large portions, and cheap.

HE SAID:

With Australia not making quite enough in the first innings there was a bit of pressure to make better score second time around. It is still possible but with 5 wickets down it is looking bad.

Parking near the pier was in short supply,  but having found a convenient spot a women in a fluro vest emerged from nowhere and started to wave her arms about. Ignoring the distraction I realised soon afterward that she was "helping" and would want payment. Unaccustomed to this sort of practice, and being security minded enough to not get my wallet out in a busy public place she was out of luck.
