Saturday 10th March

SHE SAID:

With Geoff dropped at the cricket around 9.30am I headed for the Visitor Info and had a walk around the park nearby. I now had a map of PE, so I decided to check out the coastal areas, and went down to Summerstrand.

There were a lot of tourists on the beach and checking out the African art for sale. I didn't linger there long; next stop was Cape Recife. There was a bird Sanctuary and lighthouse there, and it was a nice quiet place for a stroll, though not too many birds to be seen. I continued along the coast to Noordhoek and Sardinia Bay, stopping for scenic coast photos .

I was back at the house around 2pm, and more photo sorting and making plans for the rest of our time here took up the remains of the day, and of course collecting Geoff.

HE SAID:

South Africa was using tedium as a weapon, scoring a little over 200 runs batting all through the day. I was not as cold as yesterday, but it does get cool in the autumn shade here.
