Sunday 22nd April

SHE SAID:

After a big cooked breakfast we all headed for Mayfield Gardens, which was around 20km back towards Oberon. I visited it back in February, when about ½ of the gardens were open. But this time it was the autumn festival. The gardens that surround the house were also open to the public, which about doubles the size of the grounds.

We enjoyed about 3 hours walking around; it was warm & sunny & lots (in my mind) to look at. I don't think Geoff was overly impressed, but bore it well!

Back at the camp we had a light late lunch before Mick & Jacqui headed back home. Geoff didn't get the fire going again after they left, as it was cool & windy with a bit of rain on the air.

Mayfields was a nice walk, in a "look at how rich I am" sort of way.
