SHE SAID:
We left Zimbabwe by road today for Botswana. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive to the Bakwena Lodge in Chobe. Near the border crossing is the convergence of the rivers and 4 countries have their borders: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia.
Our new accommodation is in Rondavel Huts, which overlook the Zambezi River across to Nambia.
Our first safari was on the river, where many lovely colourful birds were pointed out to us. The game we saw included Kudu and Impala antelopes, a single Buffalo, lots of Hippos, a couple of small Nile Crocodiles, and the ugly but funny Warthogs.

HE SAID:
After a bit of a look around and settle in at Bakwena (we are told it means Crocodile People) we were off on our multinational cruise. Four nations meeting at one point was new for me, but it only took a couple of hours.
