With cold & windy weather here we decided to stay in, though luckily we didn't get the snow that fell further south.

To keep the place warm & hubby happy I did some cooking. I promised Geoff Anzac Biscuits after all his orchid finds the other day. Also, I decided that soup for lunch would be a good idea, & of course savoury muffins!

I managed to name the orchids, hopefully correctly, to go onto the Blog too!

It was cold today. Mainly because of the stiff breeze. We knew it was coming, so I had stocked up with wood for the fire and had it handy. The sunlight streaming in through the North-facing windows, and Varena's yummy cooking, had us fairly warm until mid-afternoon. By about 3pm we had the fire going.
