Friday 18th May

SHE SAID:

Geoff had to have a return visit to the skin clinic today. He had a "chunk" of his forehead skin removed that the doctors said contained Squamous Cancer Cells. When he texted to say it was done, I asked if it was Squash or Melon...as in Squamous or Melanoma...(he had no idea!). Thankfully it was the Squamous!

He is now sporting a cut with 7 visible stitches & 7 under the skin stiches. Hopefully that is all of it & he won't need more cut out.

I spent the morning opening & closing the door for the "in & out" pussy cat, as well as doing a few other things! Such a spoilt cat!

Before & After

HE SAID:

Not really looking forward to getting bits of me cut off I left for the doctor's a bit early, just to get it over and done with. The procedure was only mildly uncomfortable, thanks to the local anaesthetic, and over in about 20 minutes. With no pain, I was able to get a few things done in Armidale while I was there, but I copped a few looks, and probably scared a few children, with my new 4cm head hole.
