SHESAID:
I
decided on the 3 B's village loop today. Bundarra, Bingara &
Barraba. This circular drive was around 400km long with a mixture of
highway, country roads, & station dirt roads. It was scenic in
parts, with the morning tea stop down at the Gwydir River, well off
the dirt road.
There
wasn't anything very remarkable about the villages, but it was a
pleasant drive on a brilliant sunny autumn day. My plan to finish at
the Whyworry Winery failed, as they were closed! We got there 1/2 an
hour before they should have closed too! So Geoff stopped at the New
England Brewery instead...that was open & busy.

HE SAID:
Our Gwydir River picnic spot was great. It would be a great place to camp if we had a smaller van. The stop at The New England Brewery was well timed, as attendees from a wedding started arriving just after we got there and overwhelmed the one bloke serving drinks. Luckily we got in first.
