SHE SAID:

New Zealand here I come....

Kind hubby dropped me at Armidale Airport for my 6.30am flight to Sydney.

Then it was onto Auckland, New Zealand; visiting friends for 11 days. I'm staying with an old work colleague who lives way north in Coopers Beach for a week, but over nighting with her daughter in Auckland as it is a 5 hour drive north.

It was great to see Jenny and Mike again, and 2 of their 3 sons who were home.

HE SAID:

It was a 5am start for us. But in reality, and as always with an early start, we had broken sleep, as we watched the clock throughout the night. Taking our cups of tea/coffee with us, we were off toward Armidale Airport, arriving around 5:30, well early for Varena's Sydney flight. After a few interesting passenger-watching events Varena boarded her flight and was off to NZ. Watch out Netflix, I am going to hammer you the next 10 days.
