& I for the first time had a walk around the area here this
morning. The streets are quiet, with all the houses on large blocks &
all quite different.
I
did some cooking when we got back. The Orange Upside Down Cake was
different (the neighbours gave us a load of oranges); not having a
solid cake tin meant that the caramel sauce leaked out a bit. It
still tasted good!
After
dark I had a go at some Milky Way photos over the house, but the moon
was out so they could have been better!

It is the last day of the school holidays, so we avoided any traffic issues, police crack-downs, and any last hurrahs by weekend warriors at nice places, and just spent the day at the house.
