Thursday 5th July

SHE SAID:

Geoff accompanied me on my return visit to Queen's Lake Nature Reserve. I wanted to get some more, & better, photos. Geoff managed to find several more orchids of the same types, but in better condition. Plus, at our final stop for the day, another new Greenhood. I also found another new Helmet Orchid too.

So in 2 days I have seen 7 different flowering orchids, whereas on the Tablelands I saw 6 flowering orchids in 9 weeks. Things are looking up for the rest of our stay here, I'm hoping.

HE SAID:

It was quite a fruitful day, orchid-wise. Varena's enthusiasm kept me looking out for more orchids, and I managed to find some. So, wife was pleased with husband.
