Friday 3rd August

SHE SAID:

Geoff & I had a couple of hours in Tomaree National Park. I had been reliably informed that I should find orchids here. We did! Eight varieties in all with 3 new ones for the area, which I was very happy about.

Later we met up with friends, Chris & Ray, at the pizza cafe in Nelson Bay, for a bite to eat, & 2 hours non-stop chatting. It has been a couple of years since we last caught up.

Finding orchids at Big Rocky made Varena very happy. Dodging the piles and paper that people had left when they used the park as a dunny did not. Some people...

Chris and Ray were chatty, as you'd expect. And the pizza was good too.
