Eggbert's Travels

Monday 6^th August

SHE SAID:

A double dose of visiting today, with lunch in Springwood with Pat, Megan & Ike. Then a quick visit to see the renovations on the house, before seeing Sophy the cat for a pat.

Then we headed across the highway from the caravan park in Emu Plains to see Mari & Brett, along with their 2 daughters, Isabella & Indiana. Both the girls are shooting up; it has been several years since we saw them. We had tasty Mexican & plenty to catch up on with them.

We loved the message we got from Mari soon after we left. The oldest daughter said:

“They're funny. Can they come more often?”

HE SAID:

Pat, Ike, and Megan have had a year where the timings of everything did not quite work, but by the end of it they will have had a good holiday and will have a lovely extended and renovated home.

Mari and co. were fun too. We all chatted and laughed for a few hours over our Mexican food.
