We
moved on again today. Emu Plains was our next destination. We have 4
lots of people to see in the area over the next 2 days. We left
Budgewoi around 8.30am, heading for Sydney, but skirting the city &
going out west. We made great time & were at the new park by
10.35am!
The
caravan park here is old, & full of permanent vans & cabins.
There are only 11 “tourist” sites, which are crammed in amongst
the permanents. The one we were given was a very tight squeeze to get
into, & we gave up trying to get to one side as is the usual way to set up camp.
Geoff's
sister Kath came up from Sydney by train. We met her at the station, then drove up to Lawson to meet their brother Mick, & Jacqui his
wife, at the Lawson Pub for drinks & dinner.

Not a great looking place, but hopefully Emu Plains van park is OK. We used the motorways in getting here, as when we tow the van narrow and windy roads can be a pain for us, and for people who may get stuck behind us. The missing link of motorway at Pennant Hills is still missing, though at last something is finally being done to link these major roads around Sydney. Hopefully the tolls won't send us broke!
