Sunday 19th August

SHE SAID:

The weather was atrocious today. The van was buffeted by strong icy winds, the rain came down, with hail added to the mix! We hibernated with jumpers on & the heating up full blast!

Thankfully the weather eased after lunch & we ventured out in our “eskimo” gear. We were having afternoon tea with Jennie & Max, people we have done a couple of house sits for in the past. Their cat, Tommy, was as grumpy as ever, but it was nice to see him again too. We chatted for well over 2 hours & were all surprised at how the time flew by.

Saying hi to Geoff
HE SAID:

The morning weather was just crap, easing after lunch. Our catch up with Tom, Jenny, and Max flew by in a whirl of chatting. And I got cake!

Meanwhile, back in Canberra, Mum was taken to hospital by one of my sisters after having trouble breathing. I hope that this is remedied quickly.
