Saturday 3rd August

SHE SAID:

We departed Narrogin around 9am. It was less than 150km to Kojonup & we were there before 11.30am, including a tea stop!
Geoff suggested we head out ASAP as the weather was due to get bad as the day went on. We checked out Kojonup Reserve, finding the usual suspects, nothing new or exciting, though lots of Spider Orchids are coming.

After lunch I did a solo drive south to Farrar Reserve. Again, there wasn’t anything new & even less coming up that at the early reserve.

The forecast storm didn’t happen!

PS

I had about a millisecond of fame today when several of my wildflower photos & a couple of lines from an online interview were published in the Weekend "West Australian" newspaper; in the travel magazine!
Whow!...LOL!
Colourful wildflowers at the Farrar Dam Reserve

Strange local fauna!

I managed to watch some footy, and some cricket. All good.
